We as a Team Thrive to ensure the quality of life in our community . Our goal is to build a family consisting of Surfers, Skaters, Snowboarders and Artists. All of which are passionate in educating the public in these particular arts. Untraditional to many corporate entities we don't consider employees as numbers, but as individual human beings who are as passionate about our journey as we are. Giving back to the community is our primary goal.
The Back Story
This started as the Brainchild of Niles J. Buckner, an audio engineer on major productions in Los Angeles. Being an avid Surfer, Skater and Snowboarder as well as a Photographer focusing on these three sports in the 1990's. The idea was to incorporate all three of the sports in one place because in his view they are all connected. Talking with his comrade and best friend Corey Naughton, also an avid Surfer, Skater and Snowboarder as well as an accomplished audio engineer and graphic designer, they began to collaborate ideas on how to share both of their passions to the world. In the collaboration process they decided to add another element as an exhibition for the Museum. Though the museum will show the history of the three sports, it will also show what is happening with the sports in the present. Thus the project of the Surf Skate Snow Channel. The Exhibit will show a 24hr broadcast channel through glass for the public to view. How production works and what it takes to make a broadcast channel successful. Mind you this is an exhibit for the museum but also a corporate entity which will give a large portion of the proceeds back to the museum to ensure continued success as a historical landmark for the future of Venice Beach and the City of Santa Monica.
